Mahakumbh Mela-2025

Mahakumbh Mela-2025 scheduled to be held at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh from January 13, 2025 to February 26, 2025. The Mahakumbh Mela is expected to host crores of people throughout the entire duration.

2. It is expected that Kalpavasis-pilgrims who would station themselves at Kumbh will start arriving from early January 2025. In order to manage huge gathering of lakhs of people at the mela site and to ensure safe and hassle-free access to Sangam, several crowd management strategies including traffic restrictions would be put in place in and around Prayagraj city.

3. The first auspicious 'snan' is scheduled on 13th and 14th January, 2025 which will attract pilgrims in large number from across the globe and may also generate interest of the diaspora participating in the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Convention at Bhubaneswar, Odisha from 8th to 10th January, 2025. In order to ensure safe and convenient visit of the Pravasi Bharatiya Delegation to Mahakumbh Mela-2025. Indian Missions/Posts abroad are kindly requested to provide us with necessary details like the members of the delegation, schedule and other necessary arrangements that are required to ensure safe and memorable visit of the delegation of Indian diaspora to the Mahakumbh for onward transmission to the State Government of Uttar Pradesh.
